Always great to see the entourage at the Okoboji Conference. Thanks Phil, Rob and Skye for your leadership at the conference…and your willingness to laugh at others and yourselves. Thanks Jimmy Need-ham for jumping on the crazy train. Great stuff guys!
Hey Guys,
Another great conversation for sure. I’ve been listening to your podcast for the last 6 months or so and have really come to enjoy your moderate evangelical voice on all sorts of issues ( special kudos to Skye for his critiques of the sore spots and pet sensitivities of the ” evangelical ” consensus ). I just wanted to offer a correction on your pronunciation of the Jesuit priest and scientist Teilard de Chardin. Teilard is pronounced like ” tie-yard ” and Chardin like ” shar-duh ” . Now Phil can use his French pea accent to make the correction! Thanks again for your great podcast!
As much as I appreciate Christian’s POV as a “conservative” female southerner. I liked that she wasn’t apart of this one. I felt the humor between the guys and even the “studio audience” lent an amazing levity to the topics being brought up. So many times humor is brought into the podcast and it helps break up the seriousness and tension that the hard conversation brings. It was nice to not have the poopooing of the banter that is woven thru the podcasts.
