Congratulations, all of you. We’ve been fans of Phil’s since he was the only sane speaker at a Willow Creek conference, but the podcast introduced us to Skye and Christian. Skye’s devotional and books have been much appreciated and shared. Christian, I miss when everything was new to you, but think you’re a model of being open to the spirit, and I’m excited to see the documentary. Cheers all around!
Phil, why did you change the podcast so much?
I have never been a huge fan of Skye but tolerated it for the sake of hearing Phil and Christian. I have been most disturbed by the changes recently. I completely understood that you had books to write, but I was shocked to find that the changes will be permanent. Your podcast was one of a kind. A host trio is very rare and entertaining. The podcasting realm is already bogged down with to many one on one interview style podcasts. These changes are just adding you to the ranks of the non interesting. Could you get back to me on why you made these bold changes?
Thanks so much!
Hi Nathanael,
The choice was between canceling the podcast or making a significant change. Phil and Christian are much busier now, which made the original format simply unsustainable. Once we realized we had to make a change we decided as a team to create a format that we thought would be the most entertaining and beneficial for our audience. We believe that going forward this new format gives us the potential to create some of our best work. Thanks for listening!

I completely understand, thanks for your reply.
Holy Post? Well, at least it’s not the Godcast Podcast…
Continued success!
