The discussion about art was exactly what I needed today. I have recently rediscovered my love of drawing. In doing so, I realized I had given it up because I felt like it had no purpose in my life-that I had been taught profit/function over beauty. Now when I draw, I feel like my true self, participating with God in his glory. It’s incredible. Thanks for letting me know I’m not alone and this warped way of thinking about art does exist out there.
