Someone asked if we could offer print-at-home JellyTelly gift cards for Christmas, so JellyTelly community member Kyle Goodman whipped some up, based on the great designs he did for our Christmas JellyTelly promos. (Thanks, Kyle!)
So here's how it works: If you want to give your kids or your friends (or your friend's kids) a JellyTelly subscription for Christmas, you can subscribe using your email address and pick a unique user name and password for your child or your friend. Then you print out one of Kyle's cute gift cards on a color printer, fold it up, write in the user name and password, and hide it under the tree. It's just that easy!
Real gift subscriptions through the site will be coming in the next month or so, but not in time for Christmas. So in the meantime, Kyle's solution works pretty well. (And they're darn cute, to boot!)
Start downloading, and have yourself a ball. (Hey… maybe we can do whole kids books this way! "Get out the paste, Grandma! We're scrapbookin'!")
Thats A awesome way to introduce people to “JellyTelly” and sped the holiday cheer
What a fantastic validation of your “online and open” approach (cf. the closed with a big announcement approach you were going to pursue before you starting blogging more openly to encourage a more community-oriented approach).
Good work Kyle! Honorary JT staff? 😉

Thanks you guys, but this isn’t about me. It’s about what God can do through JellyTelly and what needs to be done.
I heard some figures the other day that really scared me, and I hope they scare you into action to. It said that 35% percent of adults are bible believing Christians, and the of the children that are being born now, only 4% will be Christians. That’s the generation that will be making decisions for the next 50 years.
We have not only an opportunity, but an obligation to raise up the next generation of kids to know Jesus and to train them how to be examples of His love and grace.
This should be a call to action for all of us, everything we do or don’t do has impact.
WHAT????!!!! FOUR PERCENT????!!!!!!!!!!! It makes one wonder, just HOW Bible-believing ARE those adults? Gotta cut a lot of the Bible out to justify THAT kind of complacency. I just read the last VOM (Voice of the Martyrs) newsletter last night…people are sacrificing their lives to obtain a single copy of the Bible, and we can’t even lead our own kids to Christ in the comfort of our own homes???? The Bible is illegal in 52 countries…and how many copies do we each own?
So thanks Kyle for the slap-in-the-face that we all need from time to time. And for the gift cards.
Great job Kyle!

DennisMansfield.comPhil,
Thanks for your hard work over these many, many years. In 2006 I received your book from a dear friend. I was just starting a new company – a for profit Christ-centered firm to help ex-addicts and ex-inmates. Reading your book gave me insight I would otherwise not have had.
These 2 and half years have been hard and yest very rewarding. Your book has been an encouragement in so many ways. In fact, I blogged on a paericular section of your book tonight on http://www.DennisMansfield.com in hopes of encouraging others…folks who are hopeless and in need of a story or two.
Your new venture will succeed…just as your old one REALLY did. You are a blessing.
Dennis
Hey everyone, I meant to post this here yesterday, and got a little too busy…. and then forgot. (I bet no one else does that, hmmm? Anyway…)
There are some of us that still use Tuesday as our day of the week for prayer for JellyTelly, and I wanted to let you all know. I post weekly notices on my blog that detail what we’re praying for during that week. If you would like to read these weekly notices, you can access that through this link:

I know that everyone who visits this site also prays for JellyTelly and the Jellyfish crew, so I wanted you to also know about this prayer notice. Thanks to everyone who is praying for this great work. God bless all of you!
