We've had the beta site up and running for 3 weeks now, and it's time to hear your thoughts about what you like and don't like so we can make the site better. If you've spent some time with JellyTelly, tell us your thoughts by answering a few questions for us.

Can't wait to hear your thoughts! We'll let you know what we learn and how we're going to implement your ideas. Thanks everyone!
I loved the #1 movie from Michael’s Top Ten Movies. It fit in perfect. That is one series we’d love to see on youtube or itunes or even dvd.
Wow! Has it been 3 weeks already?
I’ve really enjoyed most of the programming, and I can’t wait to see what the final version looks like.
Right now I think the biggest thing is the video quality is lacking. There seems to be a lot of pixelation on a great deal of the videos. Especially Drive Thru History and KidMo.
KidMo is probably my least favorite thing on JT right now. It’s almost annoying at times, and it’s difficult to hear the message through all the ruckus. It just seems a bit over the top, but not in a fun way.
I agree with Angela, the Micheal’s top 10 needs to be on YouTube at least. That’s something that’s totally viral that would spread like crazy and draw folks to JT. Plus we should all get hats like that so we can use them on Facebook and MySpace so people will ask “What’s with the hat?”
I like the Dr. S. segments too, but some of the footage is REALLY dated. I don’t know if that’s intentional or not, but it doesn’t follow the style of the opening. If it’s supposed to look older, then maybe the puppet scenes should be “antiqued” as well. That’s just my opinion.
I’ve enjoyed the Sunday movies and it’s a great introduction into some other Christian media that parent’s may not have picked up otherwise.
All in all I think that JT is outstanding and I’m glad to be seeing it from it’s beginning stages. Great work so far! 🙂
Actually I would have to disagree, Kidmo is definitely one of my all-time favorites on JellyTelly. Michael is great too, but Kidmo is a must
I have told hundreds of people I know and some I don’t know about this site. I am a member of several organizations and I was just curious how many members there are on jellytelly?
The survey seems to be closed – “This survey is currently closed. Please contact the author of this survey for further assistance.”
At least that’s the message I’m getting.
it’s happening with me, too.
yeah, the link in the email didn’t work, so I came here.
This link says the survey is closed.

Right-o…survey not up yet.
Okay to the anti-kidmo post….I agree. I dislike it. But I also have younger children than to whom it’s geared. When my son sees that it’s on, he’s done watching and will go play. It’s very tweeny (is that a word?)…supposed to be “cool” like a youth group but dorkier than a real youth group…. which leads me to my one big brainstorm regarding Jelly Telly:
What is the target age, or target age range? Is there a way to split at least PORTIONS of the site up for that, like the games section, etc? The Jr. and the Giants movie MESMERIZED my son (and me too!!!) and so did the very first one about the frog with the newspaper route…but he has zero interest in the ones geared towards kids older than himself. That’s fine, but on days he’s not into the main programming, it would be nice if there was a “toddler playground” on the site in which he could engage.
WE LOVE JELLY….JELLY ON!
We love jellytelly! It is the first thing my kids, 6 and 3 ask to do in the morning. They want to see the puppets! Michael’s top 10 is the greatest, and ditto to every suggestion above. The only thing my kids don’t like is they can’t see last weeks episodes. Any archive in the future?
We have used it as part of our home school curriculum. Thanks for all your hard work. I am putting a blurb about it in our church newletter.
Our family loves JellyTelly!! We have 5 children, aged 16 years down to 16 months. I think one of the best things is that you have programming to interest all sorts of ages. We love Kidmo (why hadn’t I heard of them before?), Drive Through History, The Bentley Brothers…all of it!! There isn’t a thing I would remove. Add more if you can, and keep up the great work!
I just did the marathon viewing of all of last week’s episodes. The shows make me really think of both Sesame Street and the Muppet Show, both of which I loved. To be honest I like the stuff you guys have done better than most of the outside stuff. The Bentley Brothers are a riot…although their hair sort of takes my attention away from their lyrics. Maybe they can keep the goofiness but lose the bad wigs? Kidmo makes me think of the old Soupy Sales show…going WAY back, even before my time! But it is just goofy enough to keep a pre-teen entertained, and most of us older ones annoyed at the over-use of sound elements. The monkey? Why the monkey? It’s all good, though.
While I am not sure what Phil will say about target age, I could easily see 3rd graders (8 or 9 yr olds) and up appreciating most of the humor. A younger child may lack the attention span for most of the segments. Ironically, I bet college kids will be a huge audience once this thing gets started!
Good job, guys!
I love it all! I can’t say there’s one part I don’t like- but, I’m easy to please 🙂 I will take the survey now that it’s up…
I have 5 little people, 22 months- 8 years old. My oldest three definitely understand it more, but all 5 look forward to it daily! I have been thinking to myself that it’s geared to the “older” kids more than VeggieTales were- those kids will grasp it faster than the young ones, but I think the Muppets were like that, as well, and we all grew into understanding their humor. At first we were just enthralled with their faces and music! I love that my baby wakes up and asks for “Jai-Tai!” which translates JellyTelly. And my 4 yr.old sings the closing song- if all she knows is that God made her and loves her just the way she is, let her watch it every day forever!!!
Both the opening and closing songs are great and so catchy, we’re all singing them! There’s nine jelly fans in our house.
I agree that Kidmo is too annoying. My whole family just skips it when it comes on.
I disagree that the Bentley brothers have bad wigs. Their wigs are funny! They also help the brothers to blend in with the puppets!
i strongly dislike kidmo it is obnoxious, and over the top and most of the time i don’t even understand what the message is suppose to be.
i love the Bently brothers there songs are very very good.
oh and i love all the puppet segments
Hi. I’m not crazy about Kidmo either. My biggest complaint is that the video keeps pausing and needs to catch up so it does not flow smoothly. Sometimes that gets frustrating. Maybe it’s just our computer, but it’s a newer one. Love the puppets–Michael’s top 10, Clive and Ian, Dr. S., etc. Trying to find my son a hat just like Michael’s because he does a PERFECT impersonation of him.
i dont like kidmo either… its just annoyning
