After listening to Podcast I was struck by two thoughts. First off, no one has read The Handmaid’s Tale nor where they familiar with Margaret Atwood. Secondly when Phil asked if there was any wilderness left and the answer was Alaska. So I kindly invite the three of you to Canada. Canada, where the Handmaid’s Tale is required reading in many schools and Margaret Atwood is national treasure. If Phil is looking for wilderness we have more than you will ever need. The North West Territories are about the same size as Alaska but with 1/18 the population. So, there is some wilderness here in Canada. So I invite you to come north and widen your horizon.
If you are lovers of literature Margaret Atwood has won.
