Well, my visit to Baylor last week was good, though a bit tiring. (Giving a 40-minute talk three times in a three-hour span can really take it out of you… especially when you're an introvert like myself.) Lovely campus. Not a lot going on in downtown Waco, TX on a Sunday night, and I didn't even get to visit the Dr. Pepper museum. (It was closed.) But the students were responsive and I think my story was appreciated.
As for JellyTelly, I really thought we'd have our funding wrapped up last week and be able to announce this week that we had a launch date. Alas, alack, 'tis not the case. We're still working at it, but we're not there yet. Why is this going so slowly? I have no idea. But it is.
So keep us in your prayers this week as we try to move on to the business of helping kids. I'll give you another update soon…
More prayers are on the way, just keep us posted!
We are praying, Phil. Yesterday at church we sang the hymn, “I Surrender All”. It’s amazing how powerful songs of praise can be….even sometimes more than a sermon. Please keep us posted on the developments.
Prayers delivered…God’s timing is best! Hang in there, brother!
Praying here, too. Are you in need of other investors at this point? Or is it more just squabbling over terms?
Thanks for the update. We’ll be praying. Let us know of specific needs, if you can: more investors, red-tape “scissors”, etc.
God bless.
We’re praying for you and all the other Jelly Telly folks! I know the feeling you’re talking about. How can things seem to be going so slowly when you are exerting such an effort… I’ve about decided it’s just another form of learning to wait upon the Lord, so hang in there brother!
“Wait for the W.O.G. (Woman Of God)”, a barbershop quartet piece, has the following stanza:
One thing about God’s timing,
it’s designed to exercise your faith.
If you stick with it you’ll find
He’s slow but n e v e r l a t e…….
What forms of payment will you acept at jellytelly? (My dad will not use a credit card on the internet.)
Peace and rest in Jesus. Release of funds, too, Lord!
Prayers going up right now…
We hate to hear that it isn’t moving quickly…and yet, it is exhibiting the characteristics of a jellyfish somehow. We are all happy to see that you are doing this God’s way rather than a faster way.
We will continue to lift you up in prayer. We are so in need of positive things for our children on the internet. Thanks for keeping us all posted!
I think you are doing a wonderful job, Phil!
I’m praying for the financial and legal things of JT. You are on my new monthly prayer list!
Keep hanging in there! I’m looking forward to JT anytime it comes!
I’m glad, that unlike the Vt movies, there won’t be a wait for those outside the US, because the net is everywhere.
God bless you mate,
Jonathan
I was there. You can see some photos of Phil and the attendees here.

Of course your in my prayers. I know this will all work out in God’s timing as it always does. 🙂
“Bearing one another’s burdens” – That’s what we’re trying to do for you in prayer, Phil. Every time I think about JellyTelly, it’s just an exhilarating feeling… the concept of such a great outlet for creativity that glorifies God.
Thank you for going through all the hassle and stress of this!
Dr. Pepper museum?? Who knew there was such a place! My husband would LOVE to visit that place.
Ok, but back to serious business….Hang in there Phil. Waiting is no fun, but I’m sure God has HUGE things coming your way soon.
Take care,
Isabel
Phil,
I go to Baylor, and I was at chapel when you gave your “talk”. Thanks. Thanks for coming, and thanks for bringing us that message; like I told my mom, it was good, it was one of those topics that hurts when you hear it, but, then again, you know you had to. And, I’m pretty sure all the people who weren’t there were so jealous when they heard you had done some of the voices. 🙂
I’ll be praying for you!
And hopefully you’ll get to visit the Dr. Pepper Museum someday because it really is pretty cool!
