We need four signatures to close the deal and get going on JellyTelly. As of this morning, we have three of the four. Three of the four! That's pretty good, eh? I mean, other than not having any of our funding, we're really doing pretty well, don't you think? Other companies might have two out of four… or one out of four… or even, heaven forbid, zero out of four. And we've got three out of four.
So really, I think we're doing quite well. Other than not having any money, that is. But at any moment now, we could have four out of four, and that would really be something. Especially in these trying economic times when Joe the Plumber has a hard time buying his plumbing company and paying his health insurance premiums.
Well, Joe the Plumber, I can't do much about your taxes, but I CAN help you find a great new mini-network/website thingie for your kids!
If we can just get one more signature…
weebls-stuff.comHa ha. I’m a Canadian, but I was watching the Presidential debates and caught the “Joe Plumber” bit.
Regarding these “trying economic times;” what does everyone think the effect might be on Jelly Telly?
Are families still going to be willing to pay a monthly subscription fee?
Regarding the credit crunch, you might want to check this out.
If I could sign I would! Most of us would. We’re all hangin’ right along with you and your Jellies. Don’t forget to breath and take an extra pen…just in case.
Justin,
speaking personally on behalf of my family, the answer is wholeheartedly yes, families are still going to be willing to pay a monthly subscription fee. Especially if you make it simple. Show the cable companies how it’s done, eh? (threw that in just for you Justin)
Sign us up, Phil. (okay, we’ll keep waiting)

We’re just waiting for the word to sign up! Still praying for you Phil!
The Presidents of the United States talk about plumbers?
Rats. All we talk about are sensible issues.
I’ll be praying – I’m sure that fourth person will not be hard to find!
You have three more signatures than any of us have, that’s for sure!
well yoou have money, just not company money, lol!
b’sides, you always tell me patience is a virtue, and youre doing pretty good so far, right?
I was just wondering about these legal documents. What exactly do they ensure? That no one will get hurt on your site or something?
Just out of curiosity. I’ll keep praying for you guys.
I just keep wondering who will be playing Joe the plumber on SNL this weekend!?! It will be a good skit, for sure.
As for #4, tell him/her that they will have to deal with an angry Christian mob if they don’t get with the program pretty soon. Give me the phone….
First of all i cant wait for the site to get up and running i just finished the book me, myself, and bob and i cant wait to see what God is going to do in your life now because you are waiting for Him to move you this is going to be amazing im praying for signiture number 4 too
Yeah, I’ll sign if it helps… until then, I’ll be praying. God bless.
I was just wondering about these legal documents. What exactly do they ensure? That no one will get hurt on your site or something?
Probably the following:
1. Nobody will be able to sue the investors, for any reason, especially not for something Phil did. If they do get sued, Phil gets to pay them anything the suite cost.
2. Phil won’t be able to take the money and use it for anything other than JellyTelly. This will be long, because there is a huge number of ways for a manager to take money from a company.
3. If JellyTelly makes a profit, how it will be divided.
4. If JellyTelly needs to raise more money, how to ensure this won’t hurt the existing investors.
5. Restrictions on Phil to make sure he doesn’t just resign leaving the investors in a lurch.
6. Phil is not allowed to die or become incapacitated. JellyTelly will buy insurance to compensate the investors if he does.
If this sounds biased towards the investors, you don’t need a hearing aid – it is. As the manager, Phil “naturally” controls JellyTelly. In theory, he could manage it to his own benefit, and waste the investors’ money. Therefore, investment contracts are usually biased towards the investors.
I’ll sign! I suppose you don’t want mine signature though…
I have an old “out of the grey” song in my head…
“there is hope in sight!”
Well, everyone pray that signer #4 can find their pen today, and we can get this show on the road…er, um…web.
This is so exciting! I know this is a great ministry, and is very ground-breaking (as VeggieTales was).
Can’t wait for that last signature.
I will continue to pray. And hopefully you will find that fouth signer very soon. But everything in God’s timing. I mean look at me, I still have no job and its almost been seven months now! Patience is very key. And keeping your faith strong through it, is tough, but possible. I am an example of that! I can’t wait till JellyTelly gets moving! You and the Lord did such a good job on VeggieTales I know you two will do great with this too! 😉
I can’t stand the suspense anymore!
By the way Phil, I loved that you mentioned Voyage of the Dawn Treader on the Pirates DVD. I’m a huge C.S. Lewis fan.
Spam,
You forgot this line item: “No puppets will be harmed in the making of skits on Jelly Telly”.
Thanks for the update on the signature ratio. We are all so very much like six year olds on Christmas Eve.
I’ll be praying you get that 4th signature, then. Thanks for the update! I’m checking daily now. So eager for this to get going! 🙂 God Bless Ya’ll (you and your people)!
