I've been a bit lax with the old website lately… sorry about that.  I've been traveling a lot – then there was Spring Break – whee!  Kinda busy…

But here I am, back with an update!

Lord of the Beans is now in production up in Canada, with Mike directing. I was hoping to be able to post some concept art and stuff, but haven't been able to get any out of Big Idea yet.  I think it's going to be pretty darn cool. If you're at the Christian Booksellers convention this July in Denver, you may get a chance to be one of the first people to see Lord of the Beans (assuming it's finished in time!) at the Big Idea event.   Stay tuned. I've also started working on my veggie film for 2006, but I can't tell you anything about that one yet. Top secret.

My two children's books, “47 Beavers on the Big Blue Sea” and “Sidney & Norman” are ready to be pitched to publishers.  I have no idea when they'll be coming out, but I'll keep you posted.

Speaking and stuff: I had the privilege last month of speaking at the Willowcreek children's pastors conference and at Yale Divinity School. It was an interesting contrast going from 20-30 academics at Yale who were marginally aware of VeggieTales to 3500 children's pastors at Willowcreek who were all VeggieTales fanatics! Both experiences were very fun, though. In May I'll be at Seattle Pacific University, then at the Christian Comedians Conference (yes, there is one of those!) in June and at the International Christians in Visual Media conference and the aforementioned CBA Convention in July. Maybe I'll see you somewhere along the way…
