What do Franklin Graham, Tony Campolo, Tim Keller and the nation of Ireland have in common? They’ve all taken bold stands on same-sex marriage in the last month. From wholeheartedly embrace to all-out boycott, Phil and the gang talk through wildly varied responses to the same question.

oops….I meant to delete the web address that was inadvertently pasted at the beginning of my previous comment. I apologize.
Phil,
Your podcast is a highlight of my day (at least until I catch up, when, I suppose, it will be merely a highlight of my week). I am eager to hear more from you and the gang about current trends within the culture of the church. I have recently started digging deeper into my own understanding of Christianity and doctrine. I’d like to hear what you, Skye, and Christian have to say about the Emerging Church, New Calvinism, the Red Letter Christians, and other “recent” developments. Any plans for such discussions in the future? Maybe with a guess like Keller, Campolo, John Piper, Francis Chan, Joshua Harris, Brian McLaren, or, if I may be ambitious, some combination of the above?
I can’t help but clarify and correct my unedited comment.
I only recently discovered the podcast and have been listening to all the episodes that look most interesting, after which I’ll probably listen to all the other ones for good measure. When I catch up on all of those, I will be listening to you and your lovely friends, alas, but once a week.
And, as you probably would have guessed, I meant “Maybe with a guest”. Ha.
Another one!!! OK, so I started this one off skeptical again. (Always afraid of what you will hear come out of someones mouth with hot button issues , and have to “judge”, LOL) Anywho, in the end I actually agreed with you Phil, on Keller. I have a lot of Franklins in my fam, so I still respect and understand him. But even after the SCOTUS outcome I didn’t feel pressed to “take my stand” in outrage. I do feel like this issue requires more thought and FOCUS on what God would have you do concerning this than a broad stroke of general outrage. Any who, thanks for the podcasts. I love seeing the new posts on FB, and I try to watch them. Appreciated the well thought out expression of Tim Keller, and the fact that you actually brought him up. [I have to be honest and say that I did judge Christian during the podcast.. I thought she was fairly uncomfortable discussing the topic and wanted to get it over with and not ruffle feathers…while I totally understand that… I guess its different watching the podcasts than listening to it…and I am done with the sin of “judging” someone I don’t know..please forgive me] and with that I am done. Thanks for the post… [ It helps to see you laid back and smiling whilst you discuss topics that would normally cause an eye roll. I wasn’t even sure I would agree with you in the end…but it was cool that I did ] ok bye!
