Public RESTROOMS UGH! There are already a lot of moms like me… a mom with 12 & 13 year old boys with IDs (my 12 year old is still in a diaper). If I am out with them alone, I have to go home when we need to use the restroom as many women are not “pleased” when you bring a boy in the restroom with you. But if a male can use the women’s restroom if they are dressed as a woman… does this mean I should just keep a house dress handy when we are out and we are good to “go.”
I’m going to assume there’s a really really good reason your 12 year old is still in a diaper, like he is special needs. If that is the case, any bathroom you choose to go in with him is probably fine. You’re already used to getting the looks, just continue using the women’s room as that’s seemed to be what works. If a man comes in dressed as a woman you’re in a stall, away from peeking eyes. Remember the lookslooks you get and try not to do the same.
Consider the astronomical model of heliocentrism or geocentrism. Has that the model of centered-ness leeched into the ‘Christian’ model of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? If so, how? What should the dynamic of that model look like? A distant cousin of anthropocentrism?
