It’s a potluck podcast as our friend Drew Dyck swings by for a visit and we tackle a bunch of stories! Could pigs have people parts?? Could there be great Christian movies Christians just won’t see?? Would Jesus send refugees packing? Plus Drew’s favorite snack food turns on him! It’s a sign of the apocalypse for sure!

“Walking with Jesus, filled by the Holy Spirit, is so much better than anything you could do for God… any work, any art. Because you become the art. You become the work.” ~ Phil Vischer
Very encouraging!
(BTW… I know you try to keep it balanced, but Skye… well… I still love him.)
Laryngitis, man. I was hoping Phil would sing “We’ll talk to Skye and Batman too…”
Great show. Pity that they lost the sound in last minute or so of Phil’s song at the end. I would have liked to have heard how he joined together and spontaneously rhymed the strangely different topics they covered here.
Helping refugees. Interesting discussion, mostly an avalanche of like mindedness.
It’s almost as if ‘safety’ isn’t just a “concept that isn’t part of Christianity”. It almost seems like it’s being cast in the discussion as a sin, or at least contrary to Christianity. I don’t believe that’s a fair generalization. I can care very much for others while still having a strong desire to have my family and my community remain safe. I don’t think that forfeits my Christianity in the least.
Definitely a topic left dangling. A better job was done wrapping up the bacon conundrum than the refugee issue.
(and I *like* America First as a slogan from an American president. I like a CEO of a company looking after the company’s interests, too. Heck, I like a quarterback to put his team first, even if other teams aren’t as good. Seriously…)
