It’s a pre-Thanksgiving mailbag podcast, as the gang sits down to answer your questions. From favorite Thanksgiving foods to thoughts about guns in church and the “Mike Pence Rule.” Plus… is Phil ready to give up on the label “evangelical,” or is he still holding onto hope?? Grab a turkey leg and listen in!

Bob’s Burgers! I’m irrationally happy Phil named that as a favorite.
Just prior to listening to this week’s podcast, I was on the website MayflowerHistory.com reading about the pilgrims. The article entitled Church and Religion stated that “During the early years of Plymouth, failing to bring your gun (musket or firelock) to church was an offense for which you could be fined 12 pence.”
Hey Phil and Skye (and Christian) — I’ve been listening to the podcast for several years and have never commented. But technology and a sale are drawing me out of the woodwork. One question, one comment:
1) Phil: Will the sale on FaithBlox reappear Cyber Monday?
2) Skye: FYI – if you have someone in your “favorites” setting on your iPhone, the latest iOS has a “convenient” feature where your phone will still alert with sounds if THAT person tries to contact you, even though your phone is on silent. Just an FYI. You can change that in Settings. Although, I always look forward to the “Skye iPhone Bing” in each episode.
Why not just keep the label, just like you keep the label of Christian.
Keep the label, change the stigma.
