It’s bring your daughter to work day! Well, not really – but Phil does anyway. His 16 year-old daughter Sydney has just released an album of thoughtful, acoustic songs, and she visits the podcast to talk about it and play a few live! (Check out Sydney Vischer on iTunes or SydneyVischerMusic on Facebook to see the whole album.)

Sydney Vischer shares a great many
similarities in sound and method
of composing with a character
called Marceline on a Cartoon
Network show called Adventure
Time .
I totally Agree with Ben. She Does sound like Marceline from Adventure time. Phil are you gonna Cover the Treyvon Martin Case, I figured it was a big deal in the Christian world though it didn’t start like that?
I may have missed it, but who played the guitar when Sydney sang live on the podcast?
Hi James, that was actually Sydney playing the guitar – singing and playing live. We should’ve clarified!
And we will have to check out Marceline!
Hi everyone,
In the true spirit of Nepotism Tuesday, I found that Sydney shared a great similarity to… her mom and dad. 🙂 She has similiar vocal mannerisms to her dad, a talent to make up impromptu songs (like her dad), and has a lot of natural musical ability (like her mom and dad).
The only reason I don’t have more comparisons to her mom is that she isn’t on the podcast enough for me to compare. BRING LISA VISCHER BACK!! We NEED more female Vischers on the podcast!!!! 🙂
Brought to you by the letters “N” and “T” (for Nepotism Tuesday)…
Hey, nobody’s talked here for 4 years!
