Love the video! Last week the microphones covered too much of your faces. You have made so much improvement in just one week. Congratulations and look forward to hearing more about the Pope.
I just recently discovered your podcast and have worked my way through every one of them. I had a great time listening until now. NOW I have to wait 7 days between each one. But the first time I had to wait was worth it because it was the first video podcast or vodcast.
I was wondering if anyone has ever pointed out that the music that plays at the top of the show, while public domain I’m sure, is the same music from the enormously popular podcast “Stuff You Should Know” from HowStuffWorks.com.
Of course this hardly matters considering the real theme song is sung live by Phil and in a different voice every week.
Love the show muchly!
Why did you go this route instead of youtube and would
you consider establishing a youtube channel as a kind of
simulcast thing ?
youtube.comyoutube.comDaniel, thanks for the suggestion! The videocasts from the past two weeks are from the Phil Vischer YouTube channel, which you can find here: http://www.youtube.com/philvischerofficial
Here is a list of Veggie Tales characters . Have you sung “Qwerty” style? Have you considered a Kickstarter campaign to produce your t-shirts? Nice show, by the way. I hope video doesn’t persuade Skye from offering his deeper theological insights. They are desperately needed for a desperate world.
I totally watched this episode on my TV. See? http://d.pr/i/Bv1c
Okay… Third time’s a charm. (I hope.)
I just have to remind myself not to hit any of the arrow keys because it changes pages and erases my comments.
Anyway, I had to point out the missed punchline from this episode.
Skye says: Where are Atheists being denied anything?
Phil should have said: The Pearly Gates?
Of course, later in the podcast, the Pope made this a moot point, but still.
Thanks for these podcasts. They make my commute more fun at least once a week. (I just recently found these, so I have plenty to catch up with).
Also, on the “About the Podcast” page, I think Skye’s new book is: Tomorrowland: Reimagining the Way Christians Relate to the World (it currently says “Reimagining the Why Christians relate to the World.”
I have taken to pre-typing and composing my comments
in wordpad so that I can simply copy and paste them
on Phil’s page because , one day I had composed a
long comment and touched the arrow key to
correct an error and it kicked me out and erased all my
comments . This happened like six times and I almost
burst a blood vessel .
that would be ‘dissuade’
Hey Phil. Love your show ;good episode as always. I may be a little late on this but I really enjoyed your interviews with Doug TenNaple and Sara Groves. Glad to see that you finally got your video podcast up and running. I love the set and I’ve been looking forward to this for along time since I saw the teaser for it that you put on YouTube. You guys keep up the GOOD work. Love it!
If your throwing out Jesus but keeping His bath water would that be Holy water?
