We weren’t planning on launching for another month or so, but with all these kids suddenly out of school… and parents wondering what to do with them… we worked real hard and here we go!
Mr. Phil TV is the new streaming service for ALL my Bible-teaching, faith-building content for kids. Pretty much everything I’ve made post-veggies now lives here.
We’ve got…
- The entire What’s in the Bible? library, for the first time searchable by story, teaching or question.
- Every episode of the Mr. Phil Show, with new songs, teaching about books of the Bible, and introductions to famous people whose faith changed the world.
- All four of my family Bible study series, covering the books of Philippians, Ephesians, 1 Peter and 1 John.
- Plus a bunch of other fun odds and ends that were laying around the office.
It’s a ton of content, and it’s all available online or through apps, wherever you are, whenever you need something for your kids to watch.
Stuck in line for toilet paper? Let’s learn about the book of Revelation.
Getting your nose swabbed at the DMV? Somebody explain the book of Job to me.
It’s all there. All in your pocked. Access everything free for two weeks, then $4.99/month.
While we’re trying to kill a virus, let’s kill time and actually build faith in our families.
Check it out at MrPhil.tv!
Mr. Phil! Greetings from Jeffreys Bay, South Africa! Our family started the Philippians study on JOY last week when the national lockdown began here in South Africa. It has been amazing to see how applicable this study is as we learn about having joy in bad times from Paul, who was in his own state of lockdown while in prison. As we face such uncertain days in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve been able at adapt the study guide for the families of the church we pastor in a vulnerable community. Each evening we send out a brief voicenote and prayer over WhatsApp, then post the adapted family devotional and prayer points to help us get through this time. Several families have shared how it is blessing their families. Thank you for such intentional discipleship materials for our kids and for the whole family! Tonight we will be learning how Paul said that to “live is Christ and to die is gain.” How applicable!! Glory to Jesus!
Thanks Michele!! I really appreciate the note!

HURRAY!!!!! When the DVD set first became available for purchase, I ordered the whole thing. And was not yet a parent. I’ve loaned out and lost some of the episodes and am so glad it is all here now!! Can’t wait to dive in. May God bless and use to His glory and may many people (maybe even some adults) come to know His saving Grace through this platform.
My family and I started that “what is Joy” series last week two and it’s been so incredibly fitting for our current situation with COVID-19 and sheltering in place. My boys are engaged in the discussions and we are able to talk about current events and pray about our concerns. Thank you for these. I cant wait to do all 4 of the book devotions with them!
Greetings from North Carolina! I am a mother of two young elementary aged kiddos. Our family has been enjoying Mr. Phil TV as a family in the evenings each day. We love it!! This has been such a wonderful addition to our daily Bible devotion. It has helped begin awesome discussions and also answer questions with vocabulary and concepts that my little ones can easily grasp. We are big fans and will continue to subscribe for the foreseeable future! Thank you, Me. Phil!
Thank you very much, Anne! I really appreciate it!
Hi Phil, Is there any chance this content will be added to Minno? We watch everything there. Thank you for everything you do! My boys (now 7 and 9) have watched What’s Is the Bible with Buck Denver so many times. Everyone asks us how the boys know so much and love to learn about the bible and I always just point back to you!
Hi Elena! I don’t have any involvement with Minno (JellyTelly under new ownership), so no, none of my recent productions will be there. Sorry!
Awesome! Can’t wait to watch. Who owns the puppets and will we see more content from them? Is it Minno/JellyTelly or you?!
I own the puppets. So if there was money to fund them, yes, there could be new puppet production on MPTV.
Hi Phil,
Our Church purchased the “What’s In the Bible” DVD series to use in our Sunday School with resounding success. I loved it as much as my students in Sunday School Class did.
With current lockdown in the churches and all public places, I was wondering if there is a way we could purchase your “Bring Faith to Life” episodes on line, and make available to our Sunday School families – sort of like purchasing the DVD series and showing it to the kids as we did at church, but in a “virtual” Sunday School setting instead. We have some families that could afford it, but a larger number that couldn’t. We’re talking about 20 families in total.
Or do you have programs our church could purchase for kids that could be used in that way?
COVID has pushed me onto a very steep learning curve in terms of learning to keep in touch with our families online, finding resources for them etc..
Please let me know if my request even makes sense!
Thanks,
Ellen Shilton
Hi Ellen –
We’re working with a couple of churches on ways to do this. We can’t do any sort of a blanket license to allow re-distribution without violating some legal rights on some of the content. But there are other ways to try to solve the problem of reaching a bunch of families stuck at home. Email my assistant Julie for more info… julie@philvischer.com.
Thanks!
Phil
Hi Phil, My 5 year old daughter and I have been watching videos on Mr. Phil TV while we color. It’s been part of our daily rhythm during the COVID quarantine. Usually she chooses an episode of The Mr. Phil show. A couple of days ago she started working on these masterpieces and I told her I would share them you. “Mr. Phil is real??” It was my pleasure to tell her that you are. Thank you for this wonderful resource. I’m also an avid listener of the Holy Post. Keep on keep in’ on!
I see now that I can’t attach a photo. She drew pictures of Emily Elephant and Sam the Turtle.
Thanks Christen! I’m sorry I can’t see them, but if you visit Mr. Phil TV on Instagram or Facebook, you should be able to connect us with the art!
Thanks!
Phil
Sometimes I wish my kids could already understand english or all of this would be available in german. Thanks for doing what you do.
How do I subscribe, or create an account ?

We just watched the last episode of the Mr. Phil Show! Are there more episodes still to come?
That’s all the Mr. Phil Show episodes for now, unfortunately. We’re doing a shorter spin-off show with Emily and Sam that will come out later this year. It’s in production now.
I just downloaded the Mr. Phil tv app and there are so many things I can’t get access to until I pay for it, I can’t pay because I am doing the free trial period. Is there a way I can just pay for it so I can have full access. I would like to be able to put your app on my grandkids tablets too. I already know I will want this i raised my kids on veggie tales, Larry boy. I appreciate you very much for doing this.
Hi, Phil! I just want to say, I am so happy you are still making content for kids. I’m 20 now, but I watched VeggieTales from age 2 and I still watch your show, haha, when they come on TBN. I guess I will never grow out of them. That Bob&Larry-loving kid will never leave! But they literally made my childhood. My childhood, and honestly, my life, would never be the same without Big Idea. I also draw the characters by memory (the originals before Mike took over), and have since I was 5. You have blessed me all my life. My sincerest thank you! Love from Lansing, MI. ???
Thanks Abby! I’m glad to hear it!!
Bro. Phil,
My name is J. Michael Bennett, Ph.D, which I believe to be a fellow kindred spirit, and I would love to come talk on your Holy Post or other podcast to talk about my recent book, “Two Master and Two Gospels, Vol. 1 – The Teaching of Jesus Vs. the ‘Leaven of the Pharisees’ in Talk Radio and Cable News.” I have a pretty good and diverse resume, and a background in Christian radio and podcasts and in a specialized sub-culture within it, although my education is in engineering. The book has had some good reviews (and available at the usual haunts in retail), and I think it dovetails wells into your emphasis, and has some background info on our evangelical culture in the early 20th century that explains some disturbing rends in Christian mass media today. I could not find out how to contact you elsewhere, so I though I’d do a “Queen Esther” and see if you might extend the sceptre to me. I can address the topic of how evangelical discourse got to be where it is right now, with some revivalist and sincere passion, and little bit of self-aware black humor thrown in, to keep things serious and not-so-serious. I would be happy to send a hardcover, paperback or electronic copy to you guys, and show up anytime, day or night, and jaw as long as you want. Please just let me know if you would like take a chance on a new face in your circles. Keep on truckin’ for the Lord, Mike (“Doctor Future”) Bennett, Host/Producer Emeritus of “Future Quake, and the “Two Spies Report” blog.
Hi Mr. Phil! Our boys have benefited more than we could ever have imagined watching your shows during COVID and not being able to attend church. It has been our lifeline for teaching our kids all about the Bible. Instead of missing out on Bible teaching by not being at church, our kids have grown and learned so much thanks to your shows. So, thank you!!
Also, during this season of Advent, we have been working our way through the season as a family, making up our own content that will teach our kids about Advent. We were wondering if you have anything for kids about the Advent season or the 4 weeks of Advent? We would love to include it in our family time if there is!
Praying you are blessed as you keep using your gifts for the Kingdom!
Thanks so much Christina! I don’t have anything specifically for Advent, other than our Christmas special and Clive & Ian’s Christmas questions. Use them however they might work for you!
Hi my name is Crystal Henderson and i have worked over 10 years in Beaumont, alberta as the Children and Family Pastor. For the past year i have been working on a kids component for Alpha Canada. When i approached them last year they made the they did not seem interested in adding a kids component to the alpha material. I know that most alpha programs have childcare for the children while there parents attend alpha and I feel like we are missing an opportunity to invest in children spiritually. I am very passionate about families journeying in faith togther and have been creating material to use in the church as well as in our communities to reach children for Christ. I have been approached by our local school district in beaumont to use this material in the public school system and have alot of childrens pastors asking me if the material is finished. I have used the large group material that i have written in our churches midweek program and i have a family member working on the animation but the project is too large for either of us to carry. i have consulted other children’s pastors and larger church to collaborate but i am met with the same reaction, that the program is too large to take on. I am leaving a comment to ask for your guidance and prayer as God shows me what my “next steps” should be. i know you are extremely busy and i thank you for taking time to read this.
Hi Mr Phil,
My name is Mary and I have 3 boys. With being home this past year, our routine is to watch your devos every morning during breakfast. We are almost done them all, just finishing off 1 Peter. I just wanted to let you know that my boys love the show and we have so many amazing conversations from it!! This morning, during one of our discussions, my 6 year old, asked Jesus to be his Saviour!! 🙂
I just feel like you are part of this and should know that your ministry has helped him to know and love Jesus 🙂 thank you so much for making God’s word so real and so understandable for kids!! Thank you for loving kids enough to have a ministry like this!!
Mary 🙂
Hi Phil,
I just want to let you know that we (me and my 7 & 5 year-old) have been watching the “Mr. Phil Show” in the past few weeks. My 7-yo is able to comprehend all the contents (she relates to Emily Elephant… being the one who “gets it” haha) , and my 5-yr loves all the characters (especially Sam the turtle, and the Bible nuts). I really appreciate the Bible study element at the end, which shed new light for me each time!
Thanks for your ministry! Sending our love & appreciation from San Jose, CA.
Thanks Annie!!
Phil
I just read your memoir Me, Myself and Bob on my kindle.
I was one of the original 500 pre-publication mail order subscribers to “Where is God When I’m S-s-s-scared?, which I happily received with your first batch of videos in 1993. I had had my first child that year and I can’t remember where I saw the ad for your VHS now (Discipleship Journal? Moody Monthly?), but I clearly remember how much my husband and I enjoyed your veggies with their expressive eyes and songs, and jingle with the recap at the end… and of course the tuba playing opening.
Thank you for your transparency and reflection and your answer to the question “Where do you want to be in five years?”
My husband and I are about to become empty nesters, and so I know change is coming though I don’t know what. So your exhortation to seek God has been very timely —to yearn to be in the center of God’s will.
Thank you,
Linda from SoCal
P.S. I went to PhilVischer.com but couldn’t figure out how to put in the code so I could read the update.
MrPhil.tv!Thanks Linda! That extra chapter is no longer available – it wasn’t really worth the hassle. Glad you were with us from the beginning! When you grandkids start showing up, they can hang out with me at http://www.MrPhil.tv!
