Why are young people leaving the church and what are some churches doing that is helping them stay? cancer.orgHey guys, love the podcast! Just wanted to let Christian know that there’s an alternative to getting a colonoscopy. If you do a FIT or FOBT stool test of good quality once a year and it doesn’t show any “occult” or hidden blood in the stool you don’t have to have a colonoscopy. If it does show blood in the stool then you are referred for a colonoscopy. I know this because I work in cancer prevention so I educate on this regularly. This link from the American Cancer Society will be helpful to look at (so you know I’m not full of poop- pardon the pun)http://www.cancer.org/cancer/colonandrectumcancer/detailedguide/colorectal-cancer-detection.
Hope this helps!
Hey Guys, awesome podcast. Just want to touch on something Christian said, who, on this podcast can be dismissed too quickly at times 🙂 . In relation to “what should a church look like, who simply love Jesus” she dropped that bomb and you and Skye were like….
I’m a big fan of Skye’s work- read ‘with’ watched video ‘why your sick church’ and ‘the nines’ what I get from it all is, come back to basics, simplify, maybe it’s time for the church to simply be the church again. I love it, but… what does that acually look like? As a youth pastor who wants to simply be authentic and counter-cultural where are my 6 steps to a simple, Christ centered ministry… you know what I mean 🙂
Maybe a pod cast or video on that would be more that worth while?..
